Stanislav Vassiliev has joined EMPP as a partner in the Capital Markets practice

Russian law firm EMPP is delighted to welcome Stanislav Vassiliev, who has joined EMPP as a partner in the Capital Markets practice.

Oleg Bychkov, a partner of EMPP law firm, commented:

“I’ve known Stanislav since 2006, when we started our legal practice in one of the Russian law firms. Already then, Stanislav was working hard, advising his clients on the securities placement. At present, in 2020, the position of EMPP Capital Markets practice will be strengthened by Stanislav’s huge experience both as a capital markets legal advisor and as a client, by his deep knowledge of procedures of issuance, placement and circulation of bonds (including securitization, conversion and restructuring).”

Stanislav comes from Gazprombank, where, since May, 2010, he worked as an Executive Director of the DCM department, responsible for legal support of emission, placement, and circulation of the clients’ securities. Before Gazprombank, Stanislav worked for a Russian law firm Linia Prava, used to be an external advisor of the Moscow city Property Department, gained anti-trust and litigation experience in the Moscow department of the Russian Federal Antitrust Service.

Stanislav Vassiliev has a tremendous experience in legal expertise in the field of Russian capital markets. He advised all major investment banks and their clients. Stanislav takes part in the meetings of the committee under the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Stock Exchange committees, National Settlement Depository, the Bank of Russia, Association of Regional Banks on the issues of financial market improvement. Stanislav Vassiliev provided legal support to more than one thousand securities emissions conducted by issuers involved into various business activities.
